SOMA will be putting together a toiletry drive. When communicating with local Erie schools for the school supply drive, admin stated that there was a great need for toiletries and cleaning supplies at the local community pantry for students and their families. This will be a contactless event, and we propose having collection boxes at the entrance to Main Campus. Students will be able to leave toiletry items for collection. Items will be picked up at the end of the drive by myself (Ellie Schommer) or Co-Chair Garrett Kettle. We will advertise this event to the entire Class of 2024 and class of 2025 so they are able to participate. At the conclusion of the drive, I will arrange a date and time to drop off the supplies to an Erie Community Pantry in need. This will be done in a contact-free manner.
