If accepted, Chipotle will donate 33% of proceeds made by individuals who show them our flier. Menchies has not specified the exact amount they would donate. Mentoring club would promote going to one of both of these places through social media and word of mouth. The money would go towards Mentoring club, likely allowing us to replace some of the worn out sport equipment that the children are currently using.

The contact is a university professor of ASL (american sign language), and has expressed interest in coming in to teach basic medical sign language to medical students. She is also interested in education on deaf culture as well, and plans to bring in 1-2 deaf individuals so that they can explain their experiences with healthcare.

She is board certified in internal medicine, integrative medicine, and palliative care and is currently the medical director of Hospice at Windber. She will be speaking to the students about her journey into medicine, how to navigate being a female physician while raising four children, and will answer any questions about her career and family planning.

The Class of 2022 appreciates the work of the faculty immensely and we are blessed to have the best medical mentors helping us do our best towards our goals as future medical professionals each and every day. The lunch would be for all of the medical faculty and would be next week towards the end of the week.

The event has already been approved for the family medicine club, but I also wanted to submit the form to document the collaboration.

Faculty will be invited, several MS3s will be invited, and some MS4s will be invited to simply discuss their experiences with the various rotations they had. It is expected that at least 100 MS2s will come and approximately 20 students older will come to talk about experiences. The event is open to the entire class and the food will be sponsored by class funds. There will also be raffles for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Disease during the event.
