We would like to give our members the opportunity to participate in a STOP THE BLEED® training event. The purpose of the STOP THE BLEED® campaign is to make our nation more resilient by better preparing the public to save lives if people nearby are severely bleeding. This preparation is being done by raising awareness and teaching students three quick actions to control serious bleeding. The EM Club advisor, Dr. Risavi, will be giving this training to students. All equipment for the interactive activity will be provided by Dr. Risavi. An email with an Excel sign-up sheet will be sent to Emergency Medicine Club members, with a maximum of 25 students allowed to sign up. This event will be held on Wednesday, July 29th, in the OPP Lab from 6 pm to 8 pm.
