It takes over 200 volunteers to make this event possible. Students will help the kids with crafts, pass out cookies, help with Santa- there are a variety of times and opportunities; but most importantly, students will provide free "health checks" and "treatments" for the children's teddy bears.

These two organizations, and the LECOM Pediatrics Club, will be heading to the Erie Ice Arena to meet with families from the community and promote healthy nutrition, exercise, and mental health.

Between 1-3 MS1 students are matched with an MS2 mentor to help them throughout the school year. SOMA sends monthly check-ins with bigs and littles to assess how the program is going and to make improvements throughout the year. Contact between Bigs and Littles will only be encouraged through Zoom, Skype, Facetime, phone calls, and E-mail. There will be no in-person interaction between Bigs and Littles.
