	December 26, 2018 at 11:41 AM	Approved	Script Your Future at Glenwood YMCA	Christian Medical and Dental Association	12/26/2018	02/10/2019	CMDA members will work with LECOM Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International (CPFI) to educate patrons of the Glenwood YMCA about the risks of hypertension and ways to reduce the risk of getting it; including handouts on smoking cessation and diabetes. Pharmacy and medical students will, under the supervision of a pharmacist, take blood pressure readings and interpret these results. All students present will be able to educate on risk factors and life style modifications. As smoking is a major contributing factor, smoking cessation education will also be provided.

Students will be separated and groups and will be assigned to a room at a particular time slot with 2 interviewers to simulate the actual interview. 10-15 minutes will be given afterwards for feedback and advice. 30 minutes will be accomodated for afterwards for cleanup and further questions.

We will email out a picture of the shirt and a spread sheet for persons interested in buying one to sign put. We are hoping to distribute the shirts over the course of a few days during lunch in either the Vora Lounge or the Cafeteria.

Same logo as the fall sale (LECOM Communications Department approved of the design previously). We received a lot of requests to expand the sale to include faculty/staff. We're going to figure out a way to expand the communication about this fundraiser so that everyone who wants a jacket can get them! Going to start the sale as soon as it is approved and have it run for about 2 weeks so the event start and end dates are not really applicable.

This event will incorporate interprofessional education events so medical students can understand the role of physical therapy for their patients and the importance of early intervention.

The candy grams will consist of a bag of Hershey Kisses and a hand written note. The price will be $1.00 per bag or $3.00 for 5 bags. The e-board will be present in the cafeteria on Valentine's Day (February 14th) for pick up of purchased grams.

The YETI bottles will cost us $30 with the customization and we plan on selling them for $38. Some of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to Emma's Footprints Foundation, a local non-profit organization that helps parents with fetal and infantile loss. Our club is currently working with Emma's Footprints by volunteering at their annual Gala on March 2nd. The remainder of the proceeds will be for our club expenses to provide food and other materials during our monthly meetings. UPDATED SECTION: The logo will be printed on the YETI thermostats. UPDATED SECTION: the YETI mugs can be blue with a white logo or white with a blue logo.
