Having this school supplies drive creates an event is a way for LECOM students to reach out and be involved with the school community. SOMA will be putting together a school supplies drive. This will be a contactless event, and we propose having collection boxes at the entrance to Main Campus. Students will be able to leave school supplies for collection. Supplies will be picked up at the end of the drive by myself or Co-Chair Ellie Schommer. We will advertise this event to the entire Class of 2024 and class of 2025 so they are able to participate. At the conclusion of the school drive, I will arrange a date and time to drop off the supplies to a school of SOMA’s choosing. This will be done in a contact-free manner. Due to recent idea of event creation, but still the desire to do something early in the school year, the dates are soon. If the event needs modification and isn't approved until after the dates proposed, dates will be moved accordingly.September 20, 2021 at 4:46 PMApprovedSports medicine presentation and Q&ASports Medicine Club09/20/202110/07/2021Dr. Rial, the sports medicine club co-advisor with Dr. Leary, would like to give a quick presentation to the sports medicine club about the field of sports medicine and answer any questions that club members have.September 14, 2021 at 6:20 PMApprovedMeeting with Dr. Owen ReynoldsDermatology Club09/14/202110/05/2021Zoom meeting with Dr. Owen Reynolds, board-certified dermatologist in Boston, to talk about the field of dermatology and answer any questions students may have.
