She will do activities with the students and discuss techniques for managing emotions during a stressful time. We would like to use part of our budget to offer students a gift card for lunch if they participate in this workshop. This would be to help take the place of the student breakfasts that were previously offered to students but have not been due to the pandemic. We also recognize that this request is not greater than 30 days prior to the event, but we will not need any LECOM spaces to host the event and the speaker has agreed to present on this date so we are hopeful that we can get this event approved and give students this opportunity to work on stress management techniques going forward.October 20, 2021 at 8:39 AMApprovedPediatrics Club Virtual Speaker Event - UPMC Children's Pediatric NeurologistPediatrics Club10/20/202111/09/2021Pediatrics Club will be hosting a virtual speaker event with Dr. Alexis Franks, a pediatric neurologist from UPMC.
