	February 9, 2022 at 7:54 PM	Rejected	Suturing Clinic	ACOS-MSS	02/09/2022	03/18/2022	ACOS-MSS would like to provide the opportunity for the maximum amount of interested students to learn the basics of suturing while ensuring that all COVID protocols are thoroughly followed. To achieve this, we would be holding two small group clinic sessions over the course of two separate dates rather than one large event. Each session will last three hours, and members may only sign up for one slot. By doing so, it will not only drastically limit the amount of potential contact between attendees but also minimize exposure time and always allow for ample social distancing. Dr. Jung will be facilitating this event with the rotating assistance of Dr. Coughlin and Dr. Risavi (other attendings will also be notified to maximize efficiency). During these small group clinic events, the following guidelines will be strictly followed: 1.) We will have a full roster of every individual who has signed up for the clinic 2.) We will have a check-in for all members and staff who attend the suturing clinic 3.) We will require masks, and uphold social distancing of at least 6 feet 4.) We will sanitize before and after the suturing clinic to avoid the potential spread of COVID 5.) We will create a screening form for all members that sign up and require that they disclose any signs and symptoms, travel history, and close contact history prior to attending 6.) Unvaccinated individuals will be allowed to attend, but they will be placed at a separate table, again maintaining at least 6 feet for proper social distancing. 7.) We will cap each session at 50 individuals to mitigate the potential spread of COVID *Our casting clinic permitted 50 individuals and was approved on November 18th, 2021. The event ran smoothly and no issues ensued.

The meeting will be a board prep and rotations Q&A event where 3rd and 4th year SSP members will offer advice to, and answer any questions, that 2nd year SSP members may have regarding boards and rotations. General SSP updates will also be reviewed at the meeting.

Students will be organized into teams to play a trivia game related to different topics in microbiology. The purpose is to help MS2 students refresh their knowledge of the material before beginning dedicated board studying, and to help MS1s practice their knowledge from core. We would like to host this event in Lecture Hall D to accommodate students and proper content review. The event would take place for 1 hour, and we would like to host the event sometime in March, however the date listed below may be subject to change.

We have had previous meetings at this location, and the church is willing to let us continue to use the space. There is ample space to be able to stay 6 feet apart and social distance. We will require masks be worn the entire meeting, have a sign up sheet prior to the event to see how the room needs to be set up to ensure social distancing, and take attendance at the meeting.

Dr. Webster is an attending physician at Wilmington Health in Wilmington, NC. He currently holds the title of Chief Medical Information Officer for the practice, and conducts clinical research trials as a Principal Investigator through Innovo Research and Accellacare. Dr. Webster has extensive experience in his primary care clinic and as a former clinical assistant professor for residents and rotating medical students through UNC School of Medicine.

Pins for each of the following systems will be offered: Anatomy (full body), MSK (gold femur), Neurology, Cardiology, GI, Respiratory, Renal, Endocrinology (gold pancreas), and Dermatology. Pins are $5 for the 1st one and $4 for any additional. Online orders via Google Form will be accepted starting Friday, March 11, 2022 until Friday, May 13, 2022. For pickup, we will have multiple contactless pickup dates/times available.

This remote presentation (via Zoom) from Amy Ventry, MSW and Social Service Coordinator at Lakeland Area Hospice, will guide us through what an advanced directive is and how to write one for ourselves, and how to carry out one for our future patients. With COVID becoming increasingly present in our world and with younger people being severely affected, it is important that young adults have advanced directives in place. While we hope to never need to use advanced directives, it is still crucial that we have our wishes be known in the event of being unable to make these decisions. Amy will give a 45 minute remote presentation about advanced directives, and then will open the floor for questions about advanced directives and her presentation.

	January 30, 2022 at 1:48 PM	Approved	St. Patrick's Day Card Drive for St. Mary's Senior Center	SOMA	01/30/2022	03/07/2022	Proposed dates: Monday March 7th through March 11th Alternate dates: Monday March 14th through Wednesday March 16th Idea: SOMA will be putting together a St. Patrick’s Card Drive. This will be a contactless event, and we propose having collection boxes in the cafeteria. Students will be able to leave their cards for collection. Cards will be picked up at the end of the drive by Co-Chair Paarth Sharma or Co-Chair Smaran Teru. We will advertise this event to the entire Class of 2024 and class of 2025, so they are able to participate. At the conclusion of the card drive, we will arrange a date and time to drop off the cards to St. Mary’s Senior Center. This will be done in a contact-free manner. Why: SOMA wants to create a COVID-safe opportunity for students to get involved in the Erie community. Having this card drive creates an event that allows LECOM students to reach out and be involved with the school and community.

We have worked directly with Dupree to provide individually packaged ice-cream with separately packaged additives. The event is being run by cafeteria staff to simply hand out the ice cream to those who are interested. The cost is quoted for $0.70 per unit, provided in boxes of 48. We have requested two orders for ~96 units. The overall cost should be under $100. COVID Protocol: Our event follows in accordance with all LECOM COVID standards. There is no additional increase in risk due to the distribution and packaging of the food. * Given Dupree's preference to handle the food services separately, he will submit his own Food Service Form. For forthcoming events, we will be submitting the Food Form through the proper SGA channels.

We are hosting a winter clothing drive to support the Erie US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants. We are hoping to setup a box on campus for students to drop of their donations so that we can gather them for donation.
	January 6, 2022 at 6:21 PM	Approved	Chipotle Fundraiser	Lecom.ophthalmology	01/06/2022	02/02/2022	The fundraiser will be hosted at the Chipotle at 6611 Peach St, Erie, PA 16509 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, February 2. Customers must show the promotional flier for their purchase to go toward the fundraiser. Customers can also order on the Chipotle app using a promotional code. 33% of the revenue generated will be donated to the club. Proceeds will help us purchase reading glasses, which will be donated to the LECOM Senior Living Center. I am in contact with Jaime Babiak (Director of Operations) and she says there is a need for about 150 pairs of reading glasses for residents and patients across their various facilities.

There is a donation center on Peach street that has ongoing appointments where students can sign up to donate blood. This event would be ongoing on multiple dates this semester. We will be asking for clever T-shirt designs that have an OPP focus. We are hoping to sell T-shirts with the winning design at Convocation as a fundraiser (if the final design and sale is approved by LECOM). We will submit a separate request for approval of the winning design when the competition is over. We would like to offer a $25 gift card to the winner from our club funds.

We will be focusing on leukemias/lymphomas and will integrate core disciplines such as biochemistry and pathology into clinical cases.
