This will provide students the opportunity to show pride in their school while staying warm. We plan to sell the jackets at a low profit to keep them affordable for all students and we plan to sell to all years and staff at LECOM. We plan on using the official LECOM logo as provided in the portal on the jacket. The Patagonia Jacket Fundraiser will help our club accumulate funds to use this coming school year on any events that we plan on hosting. Once this event is approved, we will reach out to Patagonia regarding the fundraiser. The main point of contact for this fundraiser will be Sumrana Nazib at sumrananazib46810@med.lecom.edu.

This event will consist of volunteers sorting, packaging, and preparing grocery items. It is important for students to be involved in the community in several ways and this event will provide students with a new way to be involved. The event will take place on September 9, 2023 from 1:00pm - 3:30pm. All students will register as a volunteer through the food bank website and watch a short introduction video on the tasks they will be assigned during the event. Furthermore, here are the COVID protocols that I ensure are upheld at all ACOS events: 1.) We will have a full roster of every individual who has signed up for the event 2.) We will have a check-in for all members and staff who attend the event 3.) We will sanitize before and after the event 4.) We will create a screening form for all members that sign up and require that they disclose any signs and symptoms, travel history, and close contact history prior to attending The educational purpose of this event is to continue to build connections within the community and provide a chance for the students to give back to Erie.

Dr. Pauline Phung would like to come to talk to EM club members about Emergency Medicine as a career and answer any questions students may have. Dr. Phung will present to us about the field of Emergency Medicine, followed by a short interactive activity for students to participate in. It will give our members the chance to interact with healthcare providers within the community and understand the skills that residents in these programs are learning. All equipment for the interactive activity will be provided by the St. Elizabeth Boardman Residency program. We anticipate an activity for intubation, bleeding control, splinting, etc. A sign-up sheet will be provided for students to participate, and masks will be worn to adhere to COVID Regulations. Our Club Advisor, Dr. Risavi, has approved of the event and will be in attendance. This event will be held on Friday September 8th at the Kearsarge Fire Department from 1800-2100.

Our supplier/company is DE Sports Inc. out of Clarion, PA. T shirts would reflect the design attached to this form. We would like to offer both a short and long sleeve t shirt in a standard Gildan cotton t shirt in grey and navy blue colors. We believe that our costing will range between $10 and $12 and we would sell them with a $5 markup to help generate funds for our convocation trip planned for March 2024. We expect that our costing will go down with an increase quantity of shirts ordered. Our executive board will coordinate t-shirt orders during our regularly scheduled forums. We will take orders in person and via email from our members, collect funds in form of check/cash prior to placing the order with the company, and then distribute the apparel at one of our biweekly forums. Only members of the SAAO would be able to purchase the club shirt.
	July 26, 2023 at 1:56 PM	Expired	MS1 Anatomy Exam 1 Mock Practical	ACOS-MSS	07/26/2023	08/19/2023	ACOS will be working alongside Dr. Kulesza in setting up a mock practical, with both a written and oral component for all MS1s to help prepare for their first exam. We are opening up assistance in preparation for the mock exam to SSP so that MS2s can gain volunteer hours for their time. The written component will take place in the Cadaver lab while the oral will be held in the cafeteria. We will also be having a PBL mock practical at the same time happening in Lecture Hall C. The educational purpose of this event is to prepare MS1's for their first anatomy practical. It will be performed exactly as the real practical to allow students to gauge their level of understanding of the material. The following COVID-19 protocol will be strictly followed (if mandated at the time of the event): 1.) We will have a full roster of every individual who has signed up for the clinic--both volunteers and attendees 2.) We will have a check-in for all members and staff who attend the mock practical 3.) We will require masks, and uphold social distancing of at least 6 feet 4.) We will sanitize before and after the exam to avoid the potential spread of COVID 5.) We will create a screening form for all members that sign up and require that they disclose any signs and symptoms, travel history, and close contact history prior to attending 7.) We will keep attendees in smaller groups by generating different start times for their exam

The small equipment package will include a Dejerine Reflex Hammer, 128 Tuning Fork, 512 Tuning Fork, Penlight, Pocket Eye Chart, Hospital Gown, Draping Sheet, and optional Professional Embroidered Doctor Bag. The sale will be through Steeles Supply Company. The sale will be completed via an online link (https://www.steeles.com/products/lecom-soma-student-discount-order-form) where students can choose what they would like to buy, pay for the purchase online with credit or debit card. The order will be a bulk order, shipped to the school, and then dispersed to the students. The link, along with a description of the products, will be sent to students via email to let them know of the sale.

All review material will be made in conjunction with the respective faculty teaching the subject. These reviews will be virtual and held through either zoom or google meet. MS1 students will be alerted through email of the upcoming review nights.
	July 27, 2023 at 12:25 PM	Approved	Back-to-school donation drive for the MCRC	International Medical Society	07/27/2023	08/14/2023	Erie's Multicultural Resource Center (MCRC) is a non-profit organization that helps provide a variety of educational and social services including housing, employment programs, and other supplies to the to the Latino, refugee, immigrant, and New American populations in Erie. As IMS club is focused on promoting diversity as well as serving all kinds of communities, we find working along the MCRC to align with our club goals. The MCRC is currently in need of all sorts of school supplies (listed below) for their young adult and student populations returning for the new school year. We would collect donations from August 14th to August 20th via a donation box set up near the LECOM's security office. Then, deliver the items on August 21st to the MCRC center. We are hoping for each item to be worth 0.5 volunteer hours, with the max of 2 hours per person. We will be selling waterproof ‘survival bags’ which will contain items such as an emergency blanket, cold pack, whistle, bandages, flashlight, etc. This bag will make a nice gift for student’s family members to keep on hand for daily emergencies, it will also be great for students to keep in their cars to be better prepared for everyday life. Our club advisor, Dr. Risavi, is on board with the event and we will be using the updated and approved LECOM logo. Since this is an online sale, all correspondence will be done over email via a spreadsheet. We will do marketing via social media to promote the sale and masks will be worn on the day of distribution in concordance with the school’s COVID mitigation plan. The sale will take place from August 7th – September 7th 2023 over email. Each bag will cost 50 dollars and Distribution will occur in the Fall. We will use the Vora Lounge to distribute orders after all have been placed & fulfilled.

These sessions are requested by the MMS students. As MMS students work through Fall semester, SOMA students who are OMS1s/OMS2s will host a short, virtual review of the material and high yield topics. SOMA students will coordinate review content with the faculty teaching the subject (i.e. Anatomy and Dr. Kulesza). This virtual review will allow MMS students to focus their studies over the weekend for their tests on the following Mondays. These reviews will be virtual and held through through zoom. MMS students will be alerted through email and their Facebook group. This event will be completely virtual, and will follow all social distancing because of the virtual nature of the event, with no in-person assembly required.

We plan to host a Lemonade Stand at the Club Fair, promoting not only our club but ALSF and their volunteer opportunities that are available for the students. Our President, James Nordstrom had been in contact with the SGA president and had gotten approval to put our table outside of the Wellness Center. We will be selling our Lemonade for $2 with all proceeds going directly to ALSF. To prevent spills/excessive trash, we can give the drinks to students that are leaving the Wellness Center rather than entering in. We will have napkins, wipes, garbage bags for cleaning up any spills and having a place for all the trash. The entire team will be present during the Club Fair and will be helping out distributing the drinks.

We plan to have the table present on August 5th during the student expo and offer free raffle ticket chances to new members during club/activity sign-up. We hope that the table will incentivize new students to sign up and join SAAO and come to our first open forum the following Tuesday night. We also plan to sell tickets to existing members of SAAO-Erie at various price options 1 ticket for $1.00, 3 tickets for $5.00, and an arm's length of tickets (12) for $10.00. Paper raffle tickets with printed numbers will be used and cash/check will be accepted with all transactions being logged via our treasurer in a Microsoft Excel sheet. The drawing will take place on August 15th.

The club fair event will begin at 9:30am-1:30pm on August 5th. Location: LECOM Medical Fitness & Wellness Center Purpose: The club fair at a medical school serves as a dynamic platform for students to explore a wide range of extracurricular activities and opportunities that complement their medical education. It aims to foster a vibrant and engaged community by bringing together various student-run clubs and organizations dedicated to different medical specialties, research areas, volunteer initiatives, and professional development. The purpose of the club fair is to provide students with a comprehensive overview of the diverse avenues available to them beyond the classroom, allowing them to connect with like-minded peers, gain valuable hands-on experience, and further their personal and professional growth. This event facilitates networking, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas, enabling students to discover new interests, strengthen their skills, and contribute meaningfully to the medical community. By attending the club fair, students can make informed choices about their extracurricular involvement, fostering a well-rounded education that complements their medical studies and nurtures their individual interests and aspirations. Funding: SGA will use their own funds. Timeline: The setup will begin at 6:00 pm on August 4th, with tables and chairs being brought into the gym and hallway. Clubs will each set up their own individual tables in a circular formation. The setup will end at 8:00 pm on the same day. On August 5th at 9:00 am, clubs will come in to do one last check-in before students arrive at 9:30 am. During 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, students will filter in to visit the various clubs based on their interests. From 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, clubs will remove their equipment, and SGA will pack up the tables and chairs.
