The children coming to the Kids Club live in the Erie Heights complex, a Section 8 housing community. The kids coming to the club range from 5 to 15 years old. Mentoring Club would like to collect books & board games to donate to the club for the upcoming spring & summer for the club. At this dinner, new ideas for the 2024-2025 academic year will be discussed, forum writers can work together to share tips on how to lead successful forums and retain members. We would also like to invite several faculty members to this dinner to encourage conversation about osteopathy in practice, tips for board studying and rotations, and convocation preparation. One of our Pre-SOMA Co-Directors will double check material has been reviewed with the course director to ensure accuracy. This virtual review will allow MMS students to focus their studies over the weekend for their tests on the following Mondays and access to review materials used. We will be raffling off one of our EM Club Waterproof ‘Survival Bags’ which we sold earlier this year as a fundraiser for our club. This kit has the approved LECOM logo on it and contains items such as an emergency blanket, cold pack, whistle, bandages, flashlight, tourniquet, etc. Food and drinks will be provided at the event, provided by EM Club.
