To bring students together in this spirit, we would like to request approval to host an Eid Celebration Dinner on Friday, April 10th, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the LECOM Education Center (2951 W 38th St, Erie, PA 16506). We kindly request to reserve the East Hall and one classroom for this event. Dinner will be catered from a local vendor (TBD) using club funds. Pickup and delivery of the food will be handled by board members. Additionally, all cleanup responsibilities will be managed by our board members. We will bring extra trash bags and ensure that the space is left in the same condition as we found it. The club has hosted 2 events at the same venue within the past month; everything ran smoothly and all cleanup was properly handled. PLEASE NOTE: Kindly inform the security guard at the LECOM Education Center about our event. March 28, 2026 at 4:25 PMPending (5d, 3h) SAAO Bowling NightSAAO03/28/202604/20/2026We are planning a SAAO fundraiser on Monday April 20, from 4-6 pm, at Rolling Meadow Lanes in Erie PA. Students pay $25 admission for unlimited bowling, pizza, and drinks. $10 will go to Rolling Meadow Lanes and $15 will go to SAAO. The number for the bowling alley is (814) 838-7681, they are reserving 6 lanes for LECOM. A spreadsheet will be sent out so that students will be able to sign up to be on a team, each led by a LECOM professor as their team "captain". Students can also pay $5 for an arm's length of tickets to win basket raffles, with items donated from SAAO. We hope this will be a great way for students to connect not only with each other, but their professors, and also a great opportunity to support a local business.

It will be a casual event held in the OPP Lab immediately following the Tuesday forum on April 7th. The event will be from 6:30-7:30 pm and the room has already been reserved for SAAO forum. All students are welcome to join after the forum.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who has an idea but isn’t sure how to get started, wants feedback on feasibility, or is looking for mentorship. During the event, selected students will give brief pitches (either individually or as a group) to a panel of faculty and clinicians. The panel will provide constructive feedback, guidance on next steps, and insight into how to turn ideas into real projects. Faculty and/or clinicians may also choose to mentor projects they find especially compelling. Whether students already have a fully developed idea or are just starting to think about one, we encourage all students to present their ideas and get feedback! Guest speakers are to be determined. We plan to tailor the panel of faculty and clinicians to the research ideas submitted, ensuring that the panel includes individuals with relevant expertise in the corresponding fields. To facilitate this, interested students will complete a Google Form indicating the topic of their idea. Once the panel has been assembled based on these submissions, we will finalize and submit the attending guest speakers.

I have attached the mew gray shirt with white LECOM logo in the additional attachments location** We have designed a casual wear long sleeve T-shirt with the LECOM logo on the front pocket. We will be advertising on Facebook and by word of mouth. Once we know how many orders we have and the shipment comes in we will set up a time to distribute the shirts. We would like to use the cafeteria one day in the middle of March (TBD) and then personally set times to distribute them to whomever cannot make it to the cafeteria that day. We would like to order both a gray and black design, both of which I have attached. We plan to have all of the shirts distributed by the end of March.

The class will vote on a charity, and funds will be raised through ticket sales to donate to the chosen organization. In addition to ticket sales, we will be running a food drive to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank in Erie. Students who bring in canned goods to donate will be given a discount on the ticket price for the event. This event will be closely regulated by Dr. Shabloski. Dr. Shabloski and I will have meetings every two weeks to ensure that the event adheres to LECOM's policies and expectations. This will be a dry event. The theme will be a simple color scheme of gold, and all decorations will be approved by Dr. Shabloski before purchase. All planning of this event will be geared towards representing LECOM in the best possible manner. The 2023 class council and myself hope to make this an event that will benefit a great organization and that will make LECOM proud.

A video game tournament fundraiser will be held to raise money for the local Children's Miracle Network Hospital (St.Vincent's). Children's Miracle Network Hospital is an organization that fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care. This is only open to the students. During this tournament, the students will be playing two "E" rated games. Every participant will be able to write a Christmas letter to a child at the hospital and sign up for a free miracle band that will help spread the message that local children’s hospitals rely on everybody’s supports.

On 12/5/19 at 6:00pm. Similar to last year's event, we will be presenting information about the importance of skin care and what products should be avoided during pregnancy. After this short presentation, Olivia Hallas (a LECOM OSMIII student) will be doing a demonstration on how to make bath-bombs. Each student will be able to take home their own homemade bath-bomb. This event will help promote student wellness before finals begin.
