	April 21, 2026 at 9:37 AM	Cancelled	Prepare for Medical Spanish	Spanish Medical Club	04/21/2026	05/02/2026	We would like to give our members in the Spanish Medical Club the opportunity to participate in an educational event to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and practice their Spanish skills in preparation for our upcoming Medical Spanish course, hosted at a local Mexican cafe, Casa Cafe. This event will be held on a Saturday morning. At the event, students will have the opportunity to participate and interact with others in Spanish. There will be worksheets to fill out with anatomical labels in Spanish as well as mock patient intake forms to describe yourself in Spanish. All supplies will be provided by the Spanish Medical club. An email with an Excel sign-up sheet will be sent to Spanish Medical Club with a maximum of 30 students allowed to sign up. Students will adhere to all current regulations set by LECOM. Our club advisor, Dr. Labranche, has approved of the event but will not be in attendance. This event will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, from 11 am to 1 pm at Casa Cafe in Erie.
	April 21, 2026 at 10:22 AM	Cancelled	Erie VA Bingo & Trivia	SOMA	04/21/2026	05/08/2026	Veterans Home Volunteering May 8th from 1:00-2:00 pm at the Erie Veterans Affair Medical Facility 135 E 38th St Boulevard, Erie, PA 16504 Volunteers will be visiting the Erie Veterans Affair Medical Facility to engage with residents through interactive and social activities, including bingo and trivia. The event is designed to promote connection, enjoyment, and cognitive engagement among veteran residents while providing students with an opportunity to give back to the community. Volunteers will assist in organizing and facilitating the games, interacting with residents, and helping create a fun and supportive environment. This event aims to foster meaningful relationships, reduce social isolation, and show appreciation for our veterans through shared activities and conversation. He is a board-certified physician in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Geisinger. He will discuss the Med-Peds training pathway, what makes the specialty unique, and what it is like to care for both pediatric and adult patients in one career.
