They provide free counseling, support, burial services, and financial help in these difficult times. They also spread awareness and bring people in the community who have dealt with the same tragedy together to create a local support system. Last year, WHC got involved with this organization and will be volunteering with them again this year. Emma's Footprints is going to talk about their mission since we will be working with them as well as their personal stories of losing a child so we can better understand how to handle these sensitive subjects when we are physicians and maybe even parents someday.
