Seeing how osteopathic medical students face numerous hurdles to overcome until graduation, it is easy to become lost in the curriculum and forget what the end goal for this journey is. SOMA is proud to present Dr. Nichols, as she helps guide students through what it means to be an osteopathic physician, and how to approach leadership roles as students, helping us better prepare for our future as members of the osteopathic community. We welcome students to please join us and learn, from a true pillar of the community, what it means to be a leader in Osteopathic Medicine.November 11, 2019 at 9:13 AMExpiredLauren KingOncology Club11/11/201911/22/2019Q&A session/talk with speaker Dr. Matt Brennan- a hematologist/oncologist at Lancaster General Hospital/Penn Medicine.September 24, 2018 at 11:26 PMApprovedLAUREN HIBSHMANMental Health Task Force10/07/201810/07/2018The LECOM Neurology/Psychiatry club and Mental Health Task Force requests approval for our biannual roadway beautification event, Adopt-A-Highway. I have attached images of the custom designs for approval. We do not intend to use the official logo, just the LECOM name will be included in the design. The sale will occur online, and we will post a Google Form for students to fill out their orders. The pins will be custom made by an online company, and they will hopefully be shipped within a week of the end date of the fundraiser. It is too late to have them in by the white coat ceremony for the Class of 2024, so I will just have to distribute it to our class at a specific date and time in the future. However, for the first year's class I was wondering if it would be possible to distribute their pins along with their white coats on the date of their actual ceremony. I will come in early and put a pin on each student's chair who orders one. Thank you! There are other events that are planned for that week that Nevin told me he sent in a request for. The event would start around 530 and end by 7pm. The main goal of this event is to have a fun event where MS1s and MS2s can interact. I already emailed Brian King and he mentioned that the field is available to use as long as it gets approved. As far as Covid protocol, because the entirety of the event is outside there should be no need for any masking or social distancing.August 18, 2025 at 2:37 PMRejectedKearsarge VFD Open HouseEmergency Medicine08/18/202509/13/2025Kearsarge Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting their annual Open House on Saturday, September 13th, 2025.
