November 19, 2025 at 1:33 PMApprovedRadiology Quick Review Guide FundraiserRadiology Club11/19/202512/05/2025The LECOM Radiology Club has worked with Dr. Kulesza to create a comprehensive, systems stratified, booklet of pathologies with characteristics identifiable on radiologic imaging. The target audience is both MS1 and MS2 classes for use when studying systems and board review. The booklet was inspired by Dr. Kulesza's Clinical Supplement and highlights key signs, buzzwords and modalities for specific pathologies that are covered in the LECOM curriculum. All images are adapted from Radiopaedia.org, with appropriate citations and Radiopaedia IDs to help students view the case in a full-definition. Radiopaedia.org gave their permission for our use of their images provided these appropriate citations. Our club plans to print 8.5 x 5.5 in, full color, spiral bound booklets and sell them for $15-25 each, pending final printing and shipping costs. The fundraiser will go live before winter break and upon our return in the spring we will distribute them. Payment will be accepted via Venmo or cash, Venmo preferred to increase engagement over winter break. We are happy to provide SGA with our final draft if needed. We plan to provide Dr. Shabloski and any other faculty that requests a copy for final revision if necessary. If possible, we would like to include the LECOM logo on the cover to increase "official" quality of the booklet. The Radiology club may use this booklet with future revisions in future years as fundraisers.February 4, 2020 at 9:57 AMExpiredRadiology Club Spring fundraiserRadiology Club02/04/202003/03/2020We are hoping to sell 15oz Tornado Electric Shaker Botttles for $15 with a black LECOM logo (from the powerpoint) attached on the side. This event would be through Adopt A Beach which is an organization through Pennsylvania that does monthly beach clean ups. They have specific days and beaches they clean, but for groups that cannot make those dates, they allow them to pick up supplies and assign them a beach. There will be a sign-up sheet and I will pick up the necessary supplies prior to the event (trash bags, gloves etc.). They will also assign us a specific beach (6, 8, 10 or 11) based on their needs at that time. We would like to do two clean up days this semester - September 30th and October 21st from 9am-11am. This event would provide students with an opportunity to give back to their community and help keep our beaches clean. Our counterparts in Elmira recently had a similar event which was a success, and we are hoping to continue to give back here in Erie. These hours will also count towards touch point hours, LECOM hours and SSP hours. Our hope is that we can establish a relationship with Adopt A Beach and continue these events in the spring as well. The educational purpose of this event is to continue to build connections within the community and to give back to Erie. Furthermore, here are the COVID protocols that I ensure are upheld at all ACOS events: 1.) We will have a full roster of every individual who has signed up for the event 2.) We will have a check-in for all members and staff who attend the event 3.) We will sanitize before and after the suturing clinic and mentorship discussion to avoid the potential spread of COVID 4.) We will create a screening form for all members that sign up and require that they disclose any signs and symptoms, travel history, and close contact history prior to attending. 5.) Masks and social distancing will be implemented in accordance with LECOM protocolDecember 26, 2018 at 2:21 PMApprovedPre-SOMA Mock InterviewsSOMA01/08/201901/08/2019Pre-SOMA is hosting mock interviews for the post bacc students to better prepare themselves for the medicine/dental incoming class interview.
