We will be making 65 of these shirts in a navy blue color. All shirts will have the words, 'SAAO' on the front, and have an asclepius skeletal snake on the back with the phrase 'SAAO JUST D.O. IT'. The attached designs will be ordered.

We will be making 35 of these shirts in a light blue color. Additionally, if anyone would like to purchase a shirt, we will be ordering shirts to sell to students with a similar design but in a darker blue shade for $20.00 each. All shirts will say SAAO Lecom Erie on the front with an anatomical question mark on the back. The darker blue shirts that will be for sale for all students will additionally have "OMT... I use it, D.O. you?" on the back. The attached designs will be ordered, however the shirt colors will be light blue (for forum writers) and darker blue (for purchase). We will store the shirts and students can purchase them at any time during throughout the semester during forums or if they contact SAAO E-board. Funds raised from the T-shirts will be used for future events and convocation costs.

We would like to offer a short sleeve, long sleeve, and crew necks in a standard Gildan ultra cotton t shirt in grey, light blue and navy blue colors. We believe that our costing will range between $10 and $12 and we would sell them with a $7 markup to help generate funds for our convocation trip planned for March 2025. We expect that our costs will go down with an increase quantity of shirts ordered. Our executive board will coordinate t-shirt orders during our regularly scheduled forums. We will take orders in person and via email from our members, collect funds in form of check/cash prior to placing the order with the company, and then distribute the apparel at one of our biweekly forums.

We expect that our costing will go down with an increase quantity of shirts ordered. Our executive board will coordinate t-shirt orders during our regularly scheduled forums. We will take orders in person and via email from our members, collect funds in form of check/cash prior to placing the order with the company, and then distribute the apparel at one of our biweekly forums. Only members of the SAAO would be able to purchase the club shirt.

July 24, 2023 at 3:19 PMApprovedSAAO OPP Table RaffleSAAO07/24/202308/05/2023SAAO would like to hold a raffle of an OPP table (portable massage table) to raise money to help offset convocation costs and help recruit new members to the organization. We plan to have the table present on August 5th during the student expo and offer free raffle ticket chances to new members during club/activity sign-up. We hope that the table will incentivize new students to sign up and join SAAO and come to our first open forum the following Tuesday night. We also plan to sell tickets to existing members of SAAO-Erie at various price options 1 ticket for $1.00, 3 tickets for $5.00, and an arm's length of tickets (12) for $10.00. Paper raffle tickets with printed numbers will be used and cash/check will be accepted with all transactions being logged via our treasurer in a Microsoft Excel sheet. The drawing will take place on August 15th.

These review sessions will occur every other week but may occasionally occur two weeks in a row depending on the need and the OPP lab schedule.

These review sessions will occur every other week but may occasionally occur two weeks in a row depending on the need and the OPP lab schedule COVID Precautions: • Everyone will be wearing a mask • A sign in sheet will be provided • Upon sign in, students will be assigned to a table and forum writer to create a small pod • Students will stay in their assigned pod to limit the number of contacts • Each learning pod will be social distanced from the other pods • Tables will be wiped down between partners • At the end of the forum, all tables will be cleaned Pods will be released to leave one a time to further reduce contact
July 31, 2022 at 9:08 AMApprovedSAAO OPP review sessionsSAAO07/31/202208/09/2022I would like to request SAAO forum reviews for every Tuesday night this Fall semester. This will allow us to have approval in time to have a forum before the first practical on August 10th. We will meet every other Tuesday, but having all Tuesdays reserved will let us make changes in the our schedule depending on the practical schedule. Students will have the opportunity to practice and ask any questions they may have before the practicals that will be occurring the following day, Wednesdays, in class lab. Both will take place in the OPP lab at the LECOM-ERIE main building. The MS1 forum will take place from 5:30-6:30pm. Break will be from 6:30-7:00pm. The MS2 forum will follow from 7:00-8:00 pm. Times are subject to change, mainly the exlusion of a break between forums. All in attendance are required to be SAAO members and have their local and national dues paid.
September 29, 2021 at 2:36 PMApprovedSAAO OPP FridaysSAAO09/29/202110/29/2021We plan to continue OPP Fridays every Friday from October 29th to December 10th (with the exception of during Thanksgiving break) beginning as soon as class ends for the first and second years. Last time, there were only 35 students, so I would expect a maximum of 50 students to attend, meaning that we will have plenty of space in the OPP lab to ensure social distancing precautions are maintained. The topics over the following weeks that we intend to discuss include acupuncture again as well as how to find key lesions, strain patterns, and determining lymph flow/how to treat lymph flowing in the wrong direction. They will each last 1-2 hours.
