This fundraiser will be open to the college of medicine and podiatry. It will be open for 2 weeks. A google forms will be sent out to allow people to put their orders in. The dispersion of the caps will be done at a later date. Surgery club will receive 30% of the funds.
	December 26, 2018 at 11:41 AM	Approved	Script Your Future at Glenwood YMCA	Christian Medical and Dental Association	12/26/2018	02/10/2019	CMDA members will work with LECOM Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International (CPFI) to educate patrons of the Glenwood YMCA about the risks of hypertension and ways to reduce the risk of getting it; including handouts on smoking cessation and diabetes. Pharmacy and medical students will, under the supervision of a pharmacist, take blood pressure readings and interpret these results. All students present will be able to educate on risk factors and life style modifications. As smoking is a major contributing factor, smoking cessation education will also be provided.

Having this school supplies drive creates an event is a way for LECOM students to reach out and be involved with the school community. SOMA will be putting together a school supplies drive. This will be a contactless event, and we propose having collection boxes at the entrance to Main Campus. Students will be able to leave school supplies for collection. Supplies will be picked up at the end of the drive by myself or Co-Chair Ellie Schommer. We will advertise this event to the entire Class of 2024 and class of 2025 so they are able to participate. At the conclusion of the school drive, I will arrange a date and time to drop off the supplies to a school of SOMA’s choosing. This will be done in a contact-free manner. Due to recent idea of event creation, but still the desire to do something early in the school year, the dates are soon. If the event needs modification and isn't approved until after the dates proposed, dates will be moved accordingly.

They have done amazing work and have made a difference in the lives of roughly 10,000 individuals yearly. Their mission is to enable, educate and empower the visually impaired through supporting, motivating, and mobilizing preeminent eye hospitals, blind schools, vision professionals, technology innovators, governments and nongovernmental organizations serving the underprivileged segments of Indian society. A Teddy Bear Clinical will be present where families can have a bear examined by St. Vincent Hospital Team or medical student volunteers.
	March 21, 2022 at 6:08 PM	Approved	Saint Vincent Family Medicine Residency Information Session	Family Medicine Club	03/21/2022	04/04/2022	Dr. Timothy Pelkowski is a family medicine doctor in Erie, Pennsylvania and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including UPMC Hamot and Saint Vincent Hospital – Erie. He will be speaking about the Saint Vincent Family Medicine Residency program on Monday, April 4th at 5:30PM over Zoom. He will be sharing general information on the program including curriculum, schedule, and the community. The info session will be followed by a Q&A session. Anyone is welcome to come prepared with questions about the residency program, questions about applications, or just come ready to listen.

The event will be on November 6 from 5:30-7:30 in the LECOM-Erie OPP lab and we will have Dr. Melodie, Dr. Falk, and various sports medicine faculty coming in to help us run the clinic.
	March 7, 2024 at 8:48 AM	Approved	SAAO/SOMA Food Drive	SAAO	03/07/2024	04/22/2024	SAAO is co-hosting a food drive with SOMA to support the Second Harvest Foodbank. It will be from 4/22-4/26 and is a great way to gain volunteer hours while helping the local foodbank. We will be collecting non-perishables and pantry items for a maximum of 2 hours (0.5 hours per item). The donation bin will be placed in the LECOM Lobby and the items will be collected at the end of the week and delivered to the food bank. This will be a contactless event, and will follow all LECOM COVID guidelines set in place.

We would like to use the OPP Lab every Tuesday of the fall semester from 5 to 8 pm.

Sale from Friday Oct 9th - Friday Oct 16th (or ending sooner if all Shirts are claimed) The orders will all be delivered through socially distant pick up in the back parking lot of LECOM on October 19th from 1:30-3:30 PM. All payment will take place through Venmo (Convo 2020 Shirts -$15 each and Convo 2019 Shirts -$10 each). Masks and gloves worn by all during distribution (two people distributing shirts). Pre- Order Size —> All shirts in plastic bags with names written on for distribution. If Consent is given Pick ups for more than one shirt may be allowed to reduce # of people (Ex: roommates picking up). Any student that is unavailable to be on location to pick up t-shirt on 19th can pick up T-shirt during Designated OPP Weeks (Shirts Distributed During Lab Hours by Teachers (Dr. Esper) in Lab - these shirts will be Delivered to Main campus to sit for two weeks prior to each pod getting box for distributing t-shirt)

Our goal is to distribute before hybrid students leave before the semester ends and as online student come into the Erie area they could potentially wear these shirts to their OPP labs. The shirts are already in stock so we are not taking orders but selling what we have on hand at this time.
