Having this school supplies drive creates an event is a way for LECOM students to reach out and be involved with the school community. SOMA will be putting together a school supplies drive. This will be a contactless event, and we propose having collection boxes at the entrance to Main Campus. Students will be able to leave school supplies for collection. Supplies will be picked up at the end of the drive by myself or Co-Chair Ellie Schommer. We will advertise this event to the entire Class of 2024 and class of 2025 so they are able to participate. At the conclusion of the school drive, I will arrange a date and time to drop off the supplies to a school of SOMA’s choosing. This will be done in a contact-free manner. Due to recent idea of event creation, but still the desire to do something early in the school year, the dates are soon. If the event needs modification and isn't approved until after the dates proposed, dates will be moved accordingly.March 16, 2022 at 12:42 PMCancelledScholarship opportunityMentoring03/16/202203/16/2022We would like to use the money from our candy bar selling fundraiser to fund a scholarship for continuing education for the kids graduating high school who have anticipated in the YMCA after school program as juveniles.
