SOMA, in collaboration with the Research Club and Family Medicine Club, will host two Mock H+P Practice Practical sessions for first-year medical students preparing for their upcoming H+P practical examinations.
The November 29th session will be offered to students scheduled to complete their practical on December 1st, while the November 30th session will be offered to students scheduled to complete their practical on December 4th.
The mock practical will be structured to resemble the format of the students’ actual H+P practical. Participants will complete a timed practical portion and receive a mock evaluation and feedback from student volunteers. Following the practical portion, students will transition to the LHC or a designated study room to complete a timed 9-minute SOAP note.
The goal of this event is to provide first-year students with an opportunity to practice under timed, practical-style conditions, receive feedback, and become more comfortable with the format and expectations of their upcoming H+P practical.
