LECOM | SGA

SOMA, in collaboration with Brighten A Day, will host a Card-Making Event in the Vora Lounge. Students will have the opportunity to create handmade cards with positive, encouraging messages that will be distributed to individuals in the community through Brighten A Day. All card-making supplies will be provided, and students may stop by throughout the event to participate.
The purpose of this event is to provide LECOM students with an accessible and meaningful service opportunity while spreading encouragement to individuals who may benefit from additional support and connection. This event also promotes student involvement in community outreach and provides an opportunity for students to take a break from their academic responsibilities while doing something positive for others. Completed cards will be collected at the end of the event and distributed in partnership with Brighten A Day.
