On November 9, 2024, students from LECOM will be offering first aid support at the AFJ-ROTC Commandos Competition at McDowell Intermediate High School in Erie, PA. This event is a challenging military-style athletic competition featuring activities like ropes courses, tire flipping, and people carrying. Our students will be providing essential first aid assistance to ensure the safety of all participants. Dr. Melodie Chludzinski will oversee our efforts. Participants will receive basic first aid care such as bandaging, ice application, and attention to minor injuries. This is a fantastic opportunity for LECOM students to gain hands-on experience while supporting a local community event. We look forward to making a positive impact and representing LECOM in this important role.
