SAAO is hosting a back to school drive to donate school supplies to schools in Erie County, through the United Way of Erie County Community Schools from August 4th to August 13th. Schools are requesting the following items to be donated: clear or solid book bags, headphones or earbuds, pencils, pens, water bottles, pencil boxes/pouches, loose leaf paper, notebooks, tissues, dry erase markers, and pencil sharpeners. SAAO will also be accepting cash donations to further purchase supplies to donate. Each item donated can be logged as 30 minutes of volunteering, with a maximum of two hours. A donation of any size can be logged as 30 minutes of service as well. A sign up sheet will be sent out to keep track of donations, and the items can be left at the tables inside the LECOM entrance in a bag with your name on it.
