Hi, students!

The Pediatrics Club is teaming up with the Erie Zoo to invite students to participate in a volunteer opportunity during ZooBoo 2024! At ZooBoo, children under 12 and their families will be dressed up and trick-or-treating throughout the zoo. Students will have the opportunity to volunteer to be an assistant event volunteer coordinator, stand in front of the entrance gates to direct visitors with tickets, sell buttons to visitors, be a train assistant, be a carousel assistant, dress up as the Erie Zoo Troll, be a booth worker to hand out candy to children, dress up in an animal costume to dance in front of the DJ booth, be a miscellaneous fill-in worker, or be on call during any of the Erie Zoo Boo (trick-or-treating in the Erie Zoo) dates from 5:15-9:15 pm between Thursday October 17th – Wednesday October 30th (including every day between these dates). Students may sign up for as many dates they would like, but may not necessarily be called in to volunteer if they opt for a miscellaneous fill-in or on-call worker. During the dates and roles for which you sign up, students are expected to be present during the entire 5:15-9:15 pm shift. Come join the Pediatrics Club for a spook-tacular Halloween event as we support local kiddos in our Erie community!
