LECOM ACOS-MSS is excited to give members an opportunity to obtain an International Trauma Life Support Certification. It will consist of several lectures as well as hands-on skills stations with a practical at the end. This is an opportunity for members to obtain hands-on experience and to learn new skills that are essential for any specialty. Additionally, this certification is similar to a certification that is required during residency (advanced trauma life support), allowing members to gain valuable knowledge on information for the future. The ITLS certification will last all members 3 years. There will be a required textbook that must be read prior to the start of the class. The class will run from 8/2/24 – 8/4/24.
