As part of the Visiting Professor Program, the American College of Osteopathic Internists (ACOI) is sending Dr. Annette T. Carron to LECOM to give a presentation about “How to Succeed on Rotations.” Dr. Carron graduated from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1991 and completed her fellowship in Geriatrics. She is a former ACOI president, and now works as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine for Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM). Club members will be able to attend the presentation to learn how to best prepare and stand out during their rotations. Dr. Carron will also answer any questions that students may have about rotations or the field of Geriatrics and Internal Medicine. As part of this presentation, the American College of Osteopathic Internists (ACOI) will be handing out medical textbooks to two random participants that attend the lecture.
