She is an adjunct clinical assistant professor at LECOM and an attending physician at MCH, working closely with resident physicians in psychiatry. Dr. Stillman currently works through LECOM at: -Millcreek Community Hospital -LECOM Institute for Behavioral Health -Barber Forensic -Erie Homes for Children and Adults -LECOM's 8 long-term care facilities (assisted living, skilled nursing, and secure memory care) -LECOM's Medical Cannabis Research for Generalized Anxiety and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Because of her history as a LECOM alumni and her current work experience in multiple aspects of psychiatry, Dr. Stillman is the ideal speaker as the first year medical students transition into summer. A conversation with her would give students food for thought on how they should invest in their clinical careers in the following months and beyond. Both will be conducted in case room 117 prior to the student group’s review sessions, and Dr. McCarthy will be in attendance during distribution on both days to maintain oversight. During that time of the semester, MS2’s will begin to enter the brunt of their Board studying while MS1s will have begun Neuroanatomy. Board prep and starting a new system can be stress inducing experiences. Our club advisor, Dr. Risavi, is on board with the event and we will be using the updated and approved LECOM logo. Since this is an online sale, all correspondence will be done over email via a spreadsheet. We will do marketing via social media to promote the sale and masks will be worn on the day of distribution in concordance with the school’s COVID mitigation plan. The sale will take place from August 7th – September 7th 2023 over email. Each bag will cost 50 dollars and Distribution will occur in the Fall.
