I have attached the mew gray shirt with white LECOM logo in the additional attachments location** We have designed a casual wear long sleeve T-shirt with the LECOM logo on the front pocket. We will be advertising on Facebook and by word of mouth. Once we know how many orders we have and the shipment comes in we will set up a time to distribute the shirts. We would like to use the cafeteria one day in the middle of March (TBD) and then personally set times to distribute them to whomever cannot make it to the cafeteria that day. We would like to order both a gray and black design, both of which I have attached. We plan to have all of the shirts distributed by the end of March.

This event will give students opportunities to network and interact with physicians in the Erie area. Each physician and a group of students will get 5 to 10 minutes of Q/A time. We will provide general suggestion questions via email to students of possible topics to discuss with physicians. During this one-hour session at the cafeteria, students will ask physicians questions regarding their specialties. Physicians will be gifted Starbucks gift cards for their generous time (out of the SGA budget). We are in the process of contacting physicians. Covid Protocol: Maintain a log of attendees at the event for contact tracing if possible exposure occurs Students, attendees, and speed dating stations will maintain a social distance of 6 feet. The cafeteria tables will be sanitized during set up and closure of the event. Create a screening form for all members that sign up and require that they disclose any signs and symptoms, travel history, and close contact history prior to attending All attendees will be required to remain masked for the entirety of their time volunteering. Attendees will follow all guidelines for exposure and symptoms as outlined in the portal screening form Hand sanitizer will be provided

There will be a google sign up list to make sure that the event is not over crowded and anyone who is feeling sick will be asked to stay home and not attend.

The purpose of this lecture is to help students understand the widespread and important effects of opioids on the brain structure and function in greater detail than typically learned in class. Since the lecture will be held over zoom, students will be able to social distance and follow LECOM's COVID guidelines at that time.

Sal comes from a Latino family and grew up speaking Spanish; additionally, he has had plenty of knowledge on the importance of speaking Spanish as a healthcare worker. Thus, he is a perfect candidate to teach beginner Spanish to LECOM students! The workshop will be held over zoom, and Sal will focus on teaching Spanish phrases commonly used in a clinical setting and will expand on his experience as a Spanish-speaking medical student to better prepare students for rotations and residency. When This Will Occur: We are looking to hold the zoom session on March 28th, 2024, from 5-6 PM. Advertisement: An email will be sent out by Dr. Shabloski on behalf of the MSC to MS1s and MS2s. The email will contain a short excerpt of the purpose of this Spanish workshop, the date and time it will be occurring, and the zoom information for students to join. Additionally, a message will be sent out on the MS1 and MS2 GroupMe chats for further advertisement. Volunteers/Participants: MSC is expecting to have roughly about 25-50 students attend the zoom session. COVID Mitigation Plan: Since this will be held entirely over zoom, no one participating in the workshop would be at risk of being exposed to COVID-19.
