This event will be held on Zoom and will be open to all MS1, MS2, and MS3 students. Students will have the opportunity to submit questions for the panelists ahead of time. Questions will be distributed across the panelists during the event. If time allows, students may ask live questions to the panelists. This will be an excellent opportunity for students to hear about the journey of MS4s who were once in their shoes. This will also allow students to learn and understand the process of matching into competitive specialties and how to strengthen your resume and background to successfully match into competitive specialties. I believe NAMIWalks carries a powerful message, inspiring and advocating "Mental Health for All,” and our club at LECOM envisions a future where all physicians stand together to promote and prioritize mental health as an essential part of every patient's healthcare journey. The fundraiser walk will take place on Sunday, September 14th, 2025, and will be located at Penn State Behrend - Junker Center Parking Lot 5285 Station Rd, Erie, PA 16510. Volunteers will help with passing out refreshments and by being walk guides for the participants. The volunteering period will span from 7:00am - 11am. For those who want to participate in the walk alone, registration opens at 8AM.

Each MS1 will just join 1 of 60 unique google meeting links and the MS2 responsible for that link will ask them a set of oral questions. Next, they will give them quick feedback. Dr. Kulesza has okayed the set up and supplied the questions for everything. Dr. Jung is also aware of the event.
March 10, 2024 at 4:18 PMApprovedClass of 2027 Pickleball TournamentClass of 202703/10/202404/27/2024A pickleball tournament for the class of 2027 is a great way to bring our peers together and share friendly competition, take a break from studying while getting some exercise, and build teamwork skills. The event would take place on Saturday, April 27 from 9-3 (depending on how many teams join) at the LECOM Medical Fitness and Wellness Center. Each team must consist of two players, and entry into the tournament is free. Players must know and understand the basic rules of pickleball and it is preferred that they bring their own pickleball rackets, however, some extra rackets will be purchased by the Class Board if needed. Games will be played to 7 win by 2, or 11 straight. Depending on how many teams join, a time constraint of 20 minutes may be placed per game so that all games can be completed. In addition, the tournament will be bracket play only (no pool play) depending on how many teams sign up. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. First place team receives $100, second and third place teams will each get $50.
