Information pamphlets about colorectal cancer and other merchandise and promotional items will be handed out to the participants and donors. These items will be from the Colorectal Cancer Alliance (CCA) and all proceeds from this event will be donated to this organization.

We plan to advertise for the bags through April and use a Google Doc/Forum to keep track of orders. The bags will cost $10 each. Bag pick up will be scheduled for May 10th at LECOM cafeteria. Our bag and chosen design logo (obtained from LECOM_Logos_StudentUse PowerPoint) are attached below for approval.

The YETI bottles will cost us $30 with the customization and we plan on selling them for $38. Some of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to Emma's Footprints Foundation, a local non-profit organization that helps parents with fetal and infantile loss. Our club is currently working with Emma's Footprints by volunteering at their annual Gala on March 2nd. The remainder of the proceeds will be for our club expenses to provide food and other materials during our monthly meetings. UPDATED SECTION: The logo will be printed on the YETI thermostats. UPDATED SECTION: the YETI mugs can be blue with a white logo or white with a blue logo.

The other half will go to Dr. Mendez, an infectious disease physician, at the San Rafael Hospital in San Salvador. She will use the money to buy baby formula for HIV positive mothers and toward installing indoor plumbing for them.

The first one is the Jo Coffee fundraiser. Since we are raising money for 2 organizations, I thought 2 fundraiser events would raise enough money to donate to both. This one is simple. Students simply show up to Blaze Pizza and show them the flyer for our fundraiser and then Blaze will send a check back to us to donate to our causes. We will receive 20% of the sales profit. Then half of the money can be donated to Love and Hope Children's Home in El Salvador via their website to help buy medication for the children there. 	January 11, 2019 at 12:29 PM	Rejected	Rochester SNMA 10th Annual Pre-Medicine Conference	Allies	02/02/2019	02/02/2019	This conference is designed to provide high school students and undergraduate students, many of whom would not otherwise have the opportunity to learn about a medical career, exposure to medicine and an opportunity to talk with medical students and doctors directly about their interests. The conference is organized and run by medical students from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry Student National Medical Association (SNMA) and has been a huge success over the past years. This year is no exception and we are expecting another 300 students to visit our school for the day. The conference will be Saturday February 2nd, 2019 from 8 AM until 3:00PM PM. The event will include interactive learning modules, meet-and-greet with physicians and medical students, as well as a keynote address by Dr. Ian Wilson, a diagnostic radiologist and alumnus of the Univ. of Rochester. http://www.ursnma.org/
