ACOS-MSS will be collaborating with student doctor Gavin Los to volunteer at a local community garden. This event will involve clearing the garden plot at the end of the season to prep and prepare for the following spring. There will be weed removal, trash removal, and winter crops will also be planted. Students will also have an opportunity to learn about the weekly market hosted in the spring where the produce is given to community members to promote healthy eating habits.
