The LECOM Oncology Club has partnered with the Erie Cancer Wellness Center in compiling a wish list for those undergoing chemotherapy treatment locally in Erie, PA. Chemotherapy treatment is a long and arduous process that has a heavy burden not only on the person, but loved ones as well. Through working with the Erie Cancer Wellness Center, the Oncology Club hopes to donate items in need to help mitigate this burden on the local community. The wish list has many articles that are desperately required and mean a lot to this patient population including comfortable socks, lip balm, lotion, and activities to pass the time such as crossword puzzles and knitting supplies. As a club, we wish to put a smile on the faces of those who are going through an extremely difficult time in their lives and provide a sense of support through this donation drive. Any items are greatly appreciated and will mean the world to the people receiving them!
