The Cardiology Club and Internal Medicine Club will demonstrate how to perform an EKG. The event will be held in person and is intended to help students practice placing EKG leads on a live volunteer. There will also be a short review of high-yield topics in EKG interpretation and its integration with osteopathic medicine.
This is a great opportunity to solidify what they have learned about EKG lead placement and interpretation using a live demonstration. It will provide a less intimidating (and possibly more fun) environment for students to review their EKG interpretation skills
