We would like to give our members the opportunity to participate in a CPR certification class run by Dr. Risavi. This event will be held on a Wednesday evening to train EM members on how to perform CPR with proper technique and efficacy. At the event, Dr. Risavi will give a presentation and show videos to discuss the importance of, and demonstrate, high-quality CPR. Then, there will be a hands-on learning opportunity for students to practice and be assessed on techniques. Upon successful completion of the course, Dr. Risavi will issue students a CPR license from the National CPR Foundation. An email with an Excel sign-up sheet will be sent to Emergency Medicine Club members, with a maximum of 25 sign-up spots. Students will adhere to all current regulations set by LECOM. Our club advisor, Dr. Risavi, has approved the event and will be in attendance. This event will be held on Wednesday, March 18th, in the OPP Lab from 6 pm to 8 pm.
