Holi is a Hindu festival celebrated as the Festival of Colors, Love, and Spring. APAMSA’s wants to spread diversity by celebrating one of the popular and significant holidays of the Hindu community.
Holi is a vibrant celebration that involves a lot of dancing, singing, and throwing colored powders. APAMSA is partnering up with the LECOM Mentoring Club to celebrate Holi with the kids at the YMCA. We want to educate the children on what Holi means and to celebrate a joyous and colorful holiday by having them interact with colored powders (paints) that are easily washable and environmentally friendly.
The event will take place on March 28 at 5:30 – 6:30 PM located at Erie Heights Kids Club.
All participants will undergo a background check beforehand using the following links: https://epatch.pa.gov/home and https://www.compass.state.pa.us/CWIS/Public/Home
