Pediatrics Club will be hosting a virtual Specialists panel with three different physicians attending; Dr. Kim Carpenter Brathwaite, a neonatologist working at a level 3 NICU from South Bend, IN and Dr. Sala, a pediatric ophthalmologist who works here in Erie, PA.

SAACOFP will be selling GI pins to celebrate the completion of the system for OMS2 students. Additional pins for the following systems from first year will also be offered: Anatomy (full body), MSK (gold femur) and Neurology. Pins are $5 each and can be picked up in the cafeteria on September 5-9th from 12-1PM.

The induction ceremony for the class of 2025 into SSP Honor Society will be taking place on 9/6 at 6pm over Zoom.

This will be a review session for MS1 and MS2 students to help in preparation of OPP practicals. The MS1 Forum will occur from 5:30-6:30pm and the MS2 Forum will occur from 6:30-7:30 pm. These review sessions will occur every other week but may occasionally occur two weeks in a row depending on the need and the OPP lab schedule. …

As MMS students work through Fall semester, SOMA students who are MS1s/MS2s will host a short, virtual review of the material and high yield topics. This virtual review will allow MMS students to focus their studies over the weekend for their tests on the following Mondays.
